Stainless steel wire, also known as stainless steel wire, is a variety of silk products with different specifications and models made of stainless steel. The cross section is generally round or flat. Common stainless steel wires with good corrosion resistance and high cost performance are 304 and 316 stainless steel wires. The metal plastic processing process in which stainless steel wire pulls wire rod or wire blank from the die hole of wire drawing die under the action of drawing force to produce small cross-section steel wire or non-ferrous metal wire. Metal wires with different cross-sectional shapes and sizes of various metals and alloys can be produced by drawing. Stainless steel contains chromium (Cr), nickel (Ni) and other elements, forming a compact oxide film, which effectively resists the corrosion of air, water, acid and alkali, and prolongs the service life.
The tensile strength reaches 500-1500MPa (depending on the material and technology), and it has strong bearing capacity and is not easy to break. Smooth surface, low friction coefficient and stability after long-term use.
It can work stably in the environment of -200ºC to 800ºC (up to 1200ºC for some high-temperature models) without deformation or oxidation problems.
Soft stainless steel wire is easy to bend and weave, which is suitable for complex modeling. Hard wire can be cold-formed to meet the requirements of high-precision springs and precision parts.
