- Chromium (Cr) ：Forms a dense oxide film (Cr₂O₃), providing oxidation and corrosion resistance, especially at high temperatures to inhibit oxidation reactions.
- Nickel (Ni) ：stabilized austenitic organization, enhance high temperature strength and toughness, improve resistance to sulfide and reducing media corrosion.
- Carbon (C) ：Low carbon design reduces the risk of weld intergranular corrosion while balancing strength and corrosion resistance.
- Silicon (Si) ：Deoxidizer to improve high temperature oxidation resistance.
- Manganese (Mn) ：Improves processability and high temperature strength.
Alloy Details
Special performance parameters for wire mesh
- High temperature resistance: continuous use temperature ≤ 1150 ℃, short-term resistance to 1200 ℃, high temperature to maintain stable mechanical properties.
- Mechanical properties: tensile strength ≥520MPa, yield strength ≥205MPa, elongation ≥40%, suitable for high temperature and high pressure environment.
- Corrosion resistance: resistance to acid, alkali, salt and sulfur-containing gas corrosion, especially suitable for chemical industry, petroleum and other harsh environments.
- Weaving process: plain or twill weaving, wire diameter range 0.1～0.3mm, hole diameter can be customized (e.g. 60 mesh corresponds to 0.27mm hole diameter).
- Weldability: support TIG/MIG welding, need to control the heat input to avoid grain coarsening.
Application
Ordinary stainless steel wire mesh is suitable for normal or low temperature filtration (e.g. food, pharmaceutical industry), while 310S is specialized in high temperature furnaces, heat exchangers, chemical reactors and other high temperature corrosive environments.

High-temperature filtration: high-temperature gas/particle filtration in the furnace chamber, such as combustion engine spit, hot air stove pipe.
Chemical equipment: corrosion-resistant liquid transportation piping, reactor internal components.
