Stainless Steel 1.4529, Alloy 926, UNS N08926

Stainless Steel 1.4529, Alloy 926, UNS N08926
Details:
The 1.4529 (N08926) alloy is a nickel-based alloy containing titanium and aluminium, with sufficient chromium to form and maintain a sufficient scale of chromium oxide, protecting it at high temperatures, making it more heat-resistant than traditional chromium-nickel stainless steels such as 304. The higher nickel content also provides better oxidation resistance compared to standard 18-8 type stainless steel, with oxidation resistance comparable to higher-grade alloys used at temperatures as high as 1900°F (1038°C).
