302 Stainless Steel is a high carbon stainless steel alloy often found in wire form. It is very hard and easy to work with, it has better corrosion resistance than 304 due to higher carbon and sulfur content and is suitable for mildly corrosive environments such as food, chemical equipment, pressure vessels and low temperature applications. Diameters range from 1mm to 300mm (hot rolled); 0.5mm to 50mm (cold drawn) Regular lengths of 3-6 metres are available on a customized basis.
