316L stainless steel round bar's resistance to acid and alkali media allows it to be used in chemical equipment, such as reactors and pipeline weldments. Because of its resistance to chloride ion corrosion, it can be used in marine engineering as desalination devices, marine welding parts. In the medical field, implants, surgical instruments, resistance to radiation oxidation environment, as parts of nuclear fuel processing equipment.
Chemical and petroleum industry
Resistant to dilute sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, acetic acid and other corrosive media, resistant to intergranular corrosion, suitable for high chloride ion environment, low carbon characteristics to avoid intergranular corrosion after welding, to extend the life of the equipment.
Marine engineering and shipbuilding
Propeller shafts, deck fasteners, seawater pump valves, cable joints, salt spray corrosion-resistant support structure, molybdenum (Mo) significantly enhance the resistance to chloride pitting, suitable for long-term immersion in seawater.
Medical and pharmaceutical industry
