Common Channel Steel Types
Hot-Rolled Channel Steel
Process: Rolled and moulded at high temperatures, with a U-shaped cross-section and right-angled or rounded edges.
Characteristics: High strength, high load bearing capacity, slightly rough surface.
Specification: According to the height, such as 50mm, 100mm, etc. and leg width distinction, the national standard (GB), the American standard (AISC), the European standard (EN), etc. are different.
Cold-Formed Channel Steel
Process: Cold-formed at room temperature, the cross-section is mostly C-shaped.
